Elena Private Couture began with a love of beautiful clothing and grew into a house built entirely around the women it dresses.
Where It Began
From a Love of Beauty to a Distinctive Design Language.
Elena Jones was born in Seoul, where an early fascination with how clothing moves, falls and flatters first took hold. What began as curiosity about cut, proportion and fabric became a discipline: an education in fashion design and art in Canada, and years of close study of how a garment should behave on a real body.
A New Chapter
A New City. A New Beginning.
In 2016 Elena moved to Vancouver and began building a studio of her own. The city reshaped her thinking about elegance: its modern architecture, coastal light and long rainy seasons asked for clothing that was as practical as it was beautiful. She started designing for the woman who moves through that city every day.
The Idea Behind the Brand

The house grew out of a refusal to design for an imaginary customer. Workwear, functional outerwear, private eveningwear and elevated everyday pieces are all developed from the same starting point: an individual figure, an individual schedule and an individual sense of self.

We believe luxury does not depend on ornament. It lives in the confidence of a woman who is entirely herself, and in garments made well enough to disappear into that confidence. Our work is quiet, considered and made to last beyond a season.

Every Piece Begins with Intention.
Our designers, couture seamstresses and studio assistants work in close conversation — reviewing sketches, selecting cloth, adjusting pattern blocks, hand-finishing edges and inspecting every completed garment before it is delivered. Nothing leaves the atelier unexamined.
